Cool Running Rental was launched in 2005 by Rentruck, a van rental company based in Rochdale, Lanchashire who were established in 1924.
The new company was opened with an aim of offering quality, low-cost refrigerated vehicle hire on a national basis, and since 2005 the company has grown to become a tried and trusted supplier to companies in the food, medical and science industries. We are also a trusted supplier to the non-fault accident replacement industry, dealing with many of the leading companies within the sector.

When you hire a vehicle from us, you can be sure that you are in safe hands - and should there be a problem we are well equipped to help you with our 24 hour helpline. All vehicles have national breakdown cover, and because we insist on the best service contract for the refrigeration units, we have 24/7 breakdown cover on the units from the manufacturer, GAH.
Fleet
We now have an extensive fleet of vehicles, used for short-term hire and long-term lease throughout the United Kingdom. All vehicles are equipped with GAH units for both chilling and freezing, electrical standby facility and extension cable, and with the larger vans, dual-compartment capability. All vehicles are fully valeted before collection, and regular maintenance ensures they are in good mechanical condition.
